Explainer Video
Dufry is an international Duty Free brand. Their loyalty program app Red by Dufry, offers the facility of Reserve and Collect, which lets users reserve their products of choice before travelling and collect them hassle free at the airport. Damngud created a explanatory and promo video for this app.
Challenge
Without the help of any voice-overs, we were tasked with creating a seamless explanatory video that would both promote the application, and break down the Reserve and Collect facility in layman terms for easy comprehension.
Our approach
Assessing the challenge at hand, we arrived at the conclusion that people understand something best when they’re able to relate to it. Considering this, we decided to create a storyline, that would feature a customer, who after being fed up of waiting in long queues to purchase his favourite international products, discovers Red by Dufry, and is wowed by the various benefits of the Dufry loyalty program, and the ease that the Reserve and Collect feature offers. We employed a minimal style of illustration for this video, and used animation to help convey our message clearly.
